Governor John Rankin last night (TUES) thanked Royal Bermuda Regiment soldiers and police officers for their hard work in hurricane-hit UK territories in the Caribbean.
Bermuda soldiers will tomorrow (FRI) set off on a mercy mission to the hurricane-devastated Caribbean. A group of 30 soldierswill leave the island in an RAF Hercules transporter and fly direct to Providenciales in the island chain, then on to Grand Turk to begin relief efforts.
